Our Philosophy of Ministry

The Land O Lakes Bible Church has a three-fold mission: to show people the way to God through Jesus Christ, to edify the saved, and to provide a place of worship for those away from their home church fellowship.

What Land O' Lakes Bible Church Is

Land O' Lakes Bible Church is a nondenominational fellowship where God is worshiped, the Bible is believed, and Jesus is lord. We believe the Old and the New Testaments to be infallible, verbally inspired Word of God, and that these scriptures teach, among other things, that:

Jesus Christ is the virgin born Son of God.
He died for our sins.
He rose bodily from the tomb.
Man is totally depraved, with no merit of his own.
Man's only salvation is a gift of God's grace which is obtained by man's faith and not by his works.
Jesus is now ascended into heaven, and that He is coming again to take all believers to dwell eternally in heaven with Him.
Until He comes, believers are able to live dedicated and separated lives by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit (Christ in us) thereby bringing glory to God.

What "Bible Church" Means

It means a church where the Bible is regarded as absolute authority. A church where scripture is preached and explained in a clear, warm and practical manner, so that people will be able to apply it to their daily lives. A church where a person may find Christ, learn Christ, love Christ, and live Christ. At least, that's what it means to us and we think it can mean that to you too.
